Kelly Boy DeLima is the founder and leader of Kapena, one of Hawaii’s most beloved island reggae and pop bands. Since the mid-1980s, Kelly Boy has led the group with his smooth vocals, deft guitar work, and warm stage presence. 

Kapena’s music blends traditional Hawaiian sounds with contemporary influences, creating vibrant, feel-good tunes that resonate across generations. The band features multi-generational family members onstage—including Kelly Boy’s children and grandchildren—making every performance a family affair.
