The Kanileʻa KG-2 Guitar builds upon the foundation of the KG-1 with added visual refinement and a richer tonal character. Designed for players who value warmth, depth, and elevated aesthetics, the KG-2 delivers a fuller, more nuanced voice while introducing premium visual details that enhance its overall presence. The result is an instrument that feels equally inspiring to play and to behold.

The KG-2 is built on Kanileʻa’s refined OOO body shape, offering exceptional balance, comfort, and sound projection. A 25.0" scale length and 1.75" nut width provide comfortable string spacing, confident feel, and clear note separation across the fingerboard. All models feature a durable UV-cured finish and Kanileʻa’s proprietary TRG-X bracing system, which incorporates strategic mass reduction to allow increased soundboard movement and overall weight reduction while maintaining the same structural integrity and long-term stability.

Crafted with all-solid Hawaiian Koa, the KG-2 produces a warm, expressive tonal profile with natural sweetness and clarity. A one-piece genuine mahogany neck is paired with an ebony fretboard, bridge, and headplate for smooth playability and long-term reliability. Visually, the KG-2 steps forward with an abalone rosette, abalone fretboard and headstock inlays, and tortoise front and back binding, creating a more refined and visually striking presentation than the KG-1. Gotoh black locking tuners provide reliable tuning stability.

Core Series
The KG-2 Core is built with Deluxe Grade Hawaiian Koa and is available in a UV silk or gloss finish, offering refined aesthetics, balanced tone, and exceptional playability.

Pro Series
The KG-2 Pro features Premium Grade Hawaiian Koa and is designed for players seeking maximum responsiveness and tonal depth. It includes TRU-Reduction soundboard technology and an oval side sound port, increasing resonance, sustain, and projection while creating a more immersive playing experience.

Each KG-2 Guitar includes a HAN PRO case, inspired by Kanileʻa’s premium ʻukulele cases and engineered for superior protection, durability, and everyday convenience.
