Daisuke Maeda is a Japanese musician, vocalist, and ʻukulele player best known as one half of Fulare_Pad, a Kyoto‑based acoustic duo that blends ʻukulele and acoustic guitar to create refreshing, melodic crossover music. The name Fulare_Pad comes from the Japanese furari (wandering) and pad (walking around), reflecting the duo’s musical journey and uplifting sound. Their signature song “Summer Spur” was featured in a TV commercial for Japan’s beauty brand SK‑II, helping launch their professional career in 2008.
