In a unique collaboration with artist and instructor Matt Dahlberg, this custom tenor ʻukulele blends Kanileʻa craftsmanship with personalized design details inspired by Matt’s style and story.

Built from solid Deluxe Grade Hawaiian Koa for the top, back, and sides, the instrument offers rich tonal warmth and clarity. Kanileʻa TRU-Reduction and TRU-R bracing system enhances sustain and balance, while the oval side sound port opens up the player’s experience with greater acoustic depth.

The ebony fingerboard and bridge provide a smooth, responsive feel, and the Kanileʻa Crown Slotted Headstock adds a classic touch. Custom Roman numeral position markers inlaid with Hawaiian beach sand give the fretboard a signature, symbolic aesthetic. The logo, also inlaid with sand, continues the earthy theme.

Finished in a UV-cured gloss body with a silk neck for effortless playability, and accented by black front binding and chrome open gear tuners, this instrument is as refined as it is inspiring. A true collaboration piece—thoughtfully designed and expertly built.
