Crafted from solid Hawaiian Koa for the front, back, and sides, this ʻukulele offers a warm, resonant tone and showcases the natural beauty of Koa wood. The solid mahogany neck, paired with an ebony fingerboard, bridge, and headplate, ensures durability and smooth playability.

The D-Series model features a distinctive D-shaped sound hole and an oval side sound port, enhancing the ʻukulele's projection and allowing for a more immersive playing experience. White Mother of Pearl logo and position marker inlays are complemented by black front binding for a sleek appearance. The UV-cured gloss body finish and silky smooth neck provide both visual appeal and comfort during performance. To increase comfort the D-Series instruments feature an Ebony armrest.

Equipped with Kanileʻa exclusive features, the D-Series ʻukulele includes a Graphite Infused Black TUSQ Nut and Saddle for precise intonation and stable string action. The Traditional Thin Slotted Headstock is fitted with Black Gotoh Stealth Tuners boasting a 1:18 gear ratio, ensuring precise and smooth tuning adjustments. The Kanileʻa Exclusive Radiused Back, Ebony Bridge Pins, and TRU-R Bracing System further enhance the instrument's tonal clarity, sustain, and resonance.

Available in tenor and super tenor sizes, in all finishes, and Deluxe, Premium, and Master grade Koa. (Deluxe grade Koa is the default wood grade for D-Series).
