Greg Juan of Waiolohia
Gregory Juan is a Hawaiian singer‑songwriter, musician, and cultural advocate whose music honors ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, hula, and island heritage. Born and raised on Maui and now based on Oʻahu, he grew up steeped in Hawaiian traditions, including hula and language, and carries those influences into his songwriting and performance.
Greg first gained recognition as a member of the award‑winning group Nā Wai ʻEhā, which earned multiple Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards and a GRAMMY® nomination for Best Regional Roots Music Album. He has since released music with his current group Waiolohia and in 2024 debuted his solo album Kauluwehi, which won the Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award for Hawaiian EP of the Year.
A proud alumnus of Kamehameha Schools ʻAʻapueo and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, Greg strives to uplift Hawaiian language and culture through song and inspire the next generation of Native Hawaiian artists.
