Craig & Sarah
Craig Chee and Sarah Maisel are a world‑traveling music duo, educators, performers, and inspiring ambassadors of the ʻukulele community whose complementary styles, vocal harmonies, and passion for teaching have made an incredible impact around the globe. Craig — born and raised on Oʻahu — developed his musical craft on the mainland, studying with legends like Jake Shimabukuro and Troy Fernandez before becoming a renowned instructor and performer in his own right. Sarah — originally from Alabama — discovered the ʻukulele in San Diego and went on to study jazz‑inspired Hawaiian arrangements, quickly gaining international recognition as a performer and teacher.
Since forming a duo and marrying in 2015, Craig & Sarah have performed at major ʻukulele festivals, events, and workshops across Australia, Europe, Japan, Canada, and the United States and have been featured on the cover of Ukulele Magazine. Their love of education led to a successful online ʻukulele school with ArtistWorks and creative livestream workshops that brought free access to players worldwide.
Now based in Hawaiʻi, they organize community‑focused events like the Backyard Concert Series and lead the nonprofit Four Strings at a Time, dedicated to engaging, educating, and enriching lives through music and the ʻukulele — continuing to spread joy, connection, and aloha throughout the world.
