The Kanileʻa KSG-2 Guitar offers the same refined visual styling and craftsmanship of the KG-2, paired with a Sitka spruce top for players seeking greater articulation, dynamic range, and tonal versatility. Designed for clarity and responsiveness, the KSG-2 delivers a more immediate attack and wider dynamic envelope while retaining the warmth and visual character of Hawaiian koa.

The KSG-2 is built on Kanileʻa’s refined OOO body shape, providing excellent balance, comfort, and sound projection. A 25.0" scale length and 1.75" nut width offer comfortable string spacing, confident feel, and clear note separation across the fingerboard. All models feature a durable UV-cured finish and Kanileʻa’s proprietary TRG-X bracing system, which incorporates strategic mass reduction to allow increased soundboard movement and reduced overall weight while maintaining the same structural integrity and long-term stability.

A solid Sitka spruce top is paired with solid Hawaiian koa back and sides, producing crisp articulation, enhanced projection, and a wide dynamic range, complemented by the natural warmth of koa. A one-piece genuine mahogany neck with an ebony fretboard, bridge, and headplate ensures smooth playability and long-term reliability. Visual appointments match the KG-2 with an abalone rosette, abalone fretboard and headstock inlays, and tortoise front and back binding, delivering a refined and visually striking presentation. Gotoh black locking tuners provide precise and stable tuning.

Core Series
The KSG-2 Core features Deluxe Grade Hawaiian Koa back and sides with a Sitka spruce top, finished in a UV silk or gloss finish, offering clarity, balance, and elegant visual appeal.

Pro Series
The KSG-2 Pro is built with Premium Grade Hawaiian Koa back and sides and includes TRU-Reduction soundboard technology and an oval side sound port, increasing resonance, sustain, and projection while creating a more immersive playing experience.

Each KSG-2 Guitar includes a HAN PRO case, inspired by Kanileʻa’s premium ʻukulele cases and engineered for superior protection, durability, and everyday convenience.
