The Kanileʻa DK ʻUkulele is where traditional Hawaiian craftsmanship meets innovative design. Constructed with solid Master Grade Hawaiian Koa for the front, back, and sides, this ʻukulele delivers a rich, resonant tone and highlights the exquisite grain of premium Koa wood. The solid mahogany neck, combined with an ebony fingerboard, bridge, and headplate, ensures both durability and a smooth, comfortable playing experience.
The DK model is defined by its distinctive D-shaped sound hole and oval side sound port, offering exceptional sound projection and an immersive tonal experience. The black front binding and White Mother of Pearl logo and position marker inlays add a refined touch, while the UV-cured high-gloss body and silky smooth neck finishes enhance both playability and visual appeal. For added comfort, the DK features an elegant Ebony armrest.
A Low-G string setup offers a deeper, more resonant tonal range, while the Traditional Thin Slotted Headstock is paired with Black Gotoh Stealth Tuners (1:18 gear ratio) for smooth and accurate tuning. The Kanileʻa Exclusive Radiused Back, Ebony Bridge Pins, and TRU-R Bracing System further optimize tonal clarity, sustain, and resonance.
