Signature Series "Year of the Dragon"
The Signature Series “Year of the Dragon” Tenor is a one-of-a-kind expression of Master Grade Hawaiian Koa, created to celebrate the Year of the Wooden Dragon. Inspired by the dragon’s symbolism of strength, power, prosperity, and transformation, this custom tenor brings that spirit to life through its exceptional koa and intricate custom soundboard inlay. Kanileʻa’s D-shaped soundhole, TRU-R Bracing, and refined construction deliver a rich, resonant voice with impressive depth and responsiveness.
The instrument is defined by its custom details, including a koa headstock logo, ebony armrest and tail strip, red poplar purfling, and a custom dragon-inspired soundboard inlay. Finished in UV gloss with a silk neck, it features a Kanileʻa Cobra non-slotted headstock, Gotoh 510 Mini tuners, White Mother of Pearl side markers, and a Worth Fluorocarbon × GHS Phosphor Bronze Low-G setup. A true Signature Series instrument, the Year of the Dragon brings together Hawaiian craftsmanship, meaningful symbolism, and one-of-a-kind artistry.
