The Ala Kaulike Collection is a collaboration between Kanileʻa ʻUkulele & Guitar and artist and educator Matt Dahlberg, inspired by the idea of parallel paths and the balance found through music.
“Ala Kaulike” translates to “Parallel Paths,” reflecting two distinct musical voices built from the same design philosophy. The spruce models are paired with High G tuning for clarity, articulation, and traditional island sound, while the cedar models feature Low G tuning for warmth, depth, and expanded range.
Each model features Kanileʻa Pro level appointments including TRU Reduction soundboard technology, a side sound port, D shape soundhole, and Gotoh UPT tuners for a responsive and expressive playing experience.
Every Ala Kaulike purchase also includes exclusive learning content focused on the differences and similarities between High G and Low G playing styles, helping players better understand and explore both musical approaches.
