Sean Naʻauao is a celebrated Hawaiian musician, vocalist, composer, producer, and multi-Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award-winner whose career spans more than two decades. Born and raised in Hawaiʻi, Sean first gained recognition as a founding member of the influential group Manaʻo Company, helping shape contemporary island music and reggae-infused Hawaiian sounds that remain popular on local radio.

Transitioning to a solo career in the mid-1990s, Sean’s albums such as Fish and Poi earned him prestigious Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards, including Island Contemporary Album of the Year, while his rich falsetto and strong songwriting have made him a beloved figure in both traditional and contemporary Hawaiian music.

Beyond performing, Sean is also a producer and mentor who has supported up-and-coming Hawaiʻi artists. His music embraces Hawaiian heritage and kupuna influences, blending island rhythms with heartfelt melodies that resonate across generations.
