These Oha are created in the same factory as Islander, but they are built by a specialized team of the longest standing, most skilled luthiers that dedicate their time to making these high end ukes.
Every piece of Koa that goes into the Oha is handpicked by the team at Kanile’a. Our Hawai’i team graded each piece of Koa, laid it out, cut it, and dried it before sending it over to the Islander factory to be built. To further ensure the highest quality, all instruments are quality checked and set-up by our team at the Kanile’a factory before going out for purchase.
