The standout, and namesake, feature of this model is the TRU-Relief paired with the TRU-Reduction.  The TR in KTR.  The TRU-Relief is a bent soundboard and tapered sides so there is a thin body feel under the playing arm.  The TRU-Reduction is an engraved pattern on the inside of the soundboard to relieve mass and increase elasticity, ultimately increasing projection and sustain. 

The KTR features Gotoh stealth tuners in black with a precise 18:1 ratio for stable tuning, along with Kanileʻa exclusive innovations: A Radiused Back for enhanced sound projection, and the TRU-R Bracing System for superior tonal clarity. The Graphite Infused Black TUSQ Nut and Saddle, along with Ebony Bridge Pins, ensure string stability and precise intonation.
