Aloha Joe and Kristen,
My Kanile'a 'Ukulele arrived today in perfect condition and I think it is beautiful. I like the
way the top and back are matched and the way the mahogany neck matches the body color. The rosewood
fingerboard and bridge tastefully contrasts with the light colored koa body. The gold tuners are
definitely the right choice.
I'm very impressed with the sound. It is what I expected and then some. I had not played an
'ukulele with a low G before and a lower tones are extraordinary.
Thanks for your efforts in building a fine instrument that I think is work of art as well as
excellent sounding and easily playable. I've purchased many instruments before, but never from
5000 miles away. I was a little anxious about buying something that I had not played or seen
but I'm very satisfied with the transaction. I thought Kristen did a fine job of describing
what was available and having someone play them for me.

Aloha Kristen and Joe...
I just received my new K-2 Tenor (S.N. 0508-2044) from musicguymic, and I still can't pick my jaw up off the floor. Just to look at it is stunning...the woodwork and finish are far beyond what I ever would have expected...absolutely beautiful. If it didn't sound so sweet, I would hang it on my wall just to look at. But, the tone absolutely is as warm and sweet as the finish. Words cannot express how happy I am with this purchase.
Originally, I had talked with Kristen about putting pickups in this...but after much thought, I am instead going to buy another K-2 from Mike, and have him send it to you for pickup installation before he sends it out. Congratulations and thanks to you for making me such a truly fine musical instrument. After talking with Kristin, I now know that it is truly reflective of the love that she, Joe, and company have for the instrument.
Mahalo...

These testimonials are from actual customers who where kind enough to share their feelings and
experiences with their new Kanile'a 'ukulele. We understand how difficult it is to express over
the internet how extraordinary our 'ukuleles look and most importantly sound.
These testimonial pages are to assist you in understanding the beauty and playability of our instruments.
